2022 IEEE/EMB BioRob (International Conference for Biomedical Robotics and Biomechatronics) ended successfully. Dr. Jiyeon Kang served as an organizing committee and workshop co-chair of BioRob 2022.

AWEAR lab received a grant from the NSF DARE, for our work on “A holistic human-in-the-loop framework for optimizing a personalized prosthetic arm".

Dr. Jiyeon Kang served as an associate editor of 2021 IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation (ICRA).

2020 IEEE/EMB BioRob (International Conference for Biomedical Robotics and Biomechatronics) ended successfully with over 1500 attendees. Dr. Jiyeon Kang served as an organizing committee and workshop chair of BioRob 2020. Nikhil Kantu and Saeb Lamooki presented in BioRob 2020.

Dr. Jiyeon Kang was invited to give a talk on Intelligent wheelchair for children with special needs for WNY STEM activities for high school students working on Open Wheel Chair Project.
