AWEAR Lab

Welcome to the AI-based WEArable Robotics (AWEAR) laboratory in Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST). Our mission is to develop robotic systems that can assist and support human with robotic technology. Our lab is designing, fabricating, and testing innovative robotic devices for various body parts to enhance human performance. We are also focusing on AI-based robot controllers by building systematic biomechanical data that responds to human-robot interaction, as we believe that smart robot control technology will be key for the future of wearable robots.
